Reflection paper
Friends the first school for blacks. My partner Elizabeth and I were working the first public school for blacks. We did a exhibit on the Philadelphia Quakers and their accomplishments. Some of the things that we learned were that Germantown friend’s school were the first school for black kids who couldn’t afford it meaning the first public school. The successes that we learned was that a lot of famous and important people were involved in building the school. Some of the challenges that we faced were that there weren’t a lot of information the Quakers that related to our topic. Meaning we were trying to find out when the school was built and who build it. There were a lot of things that didn’t relate like for one some of our sources didn’t even help us cause it had nothing to do with our topic. The changes that I would do next to say if I was going to do a board I would try to find my general topic fast as I could then see what is going to be broken up and then start looking up some my sources that it could still be some help to me during the process of getting things organized out.
